I’m Brian Summerfield, the main voice behind PivotPoints.

Manufacturing has really been my life since a teen after straightening my life out. We all have pivot points in life. I have had several and still do, some went poorly and many have gone well with great blessings. But we should learn from the past ones and approach new pivot points with confidence.

With 25+ years in various companies and roles, I’ve led teams, grown businesses, generated tremendous productivity, and coached team members and leaders to excel—along the way learning to blend sound leadership, faith, purpose, and practical systems in my strive to become a better man - at home, at work, and in the community. It will always be a process of continual improvement and being a perpetual student in addition to teaching is key. We will be re-forged many times in our lives.

I’ve served in numerous corporate and technical roles in manufacturing, become an active investor and business owner, guided faith-focused leadership, been a trusted advisor, and help companies advance with proven systems.

My mission is simple: make manufacturing stronger in America while impacting the lives of a million—together. I believe leadership grows businesses inside and out, systems turn good companies into great ones, and purpose, rooted in biblical faith, builds what lasts to help build stronger communities which should be our calling. Part of my calling is to help men become better leaders, fathers, and husbands. Drawing on Scripture like Proverbs 16:9—‘The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps’—I share insights to help us win at home and work.

My core message? Leadership drives growth, systems create success, and faith fuels purpose.
